"I work as an object maker and a printmaker and I am currently focusing more attention on printmaking. My current concerns regarding the printmaking process are with the ImagOn, non-toxic, etching process and large-scale woodblock relief prints that are done collaboratively with my partner Jennifer Koch.

 

The imagery in my work is derived from various sources: material culture, social culture, art history, architecture and geography as well as anything else that gets in my way"

 

Gregg Blasdel received his BFA in painting from the University of Kansas and his MFA in sculpture and painting from Cornell University. His work has been exhibited in New York and throughout New England. Blasdel has been awarded many awards including the Barbara Smail Award. Blasdel is a Professor Emeritus at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT.
